It begins with understanding.

Funding for treatment for older kids is hard to come by. A tight budget has room for only the bare necessities. Syntaxis has survived over two decades by providing quality services at a lower cost.

Because it is non-sectarian, Syntaxis receives no money from any organized religious group. It also does not receive money from United Way except under the provisions of the donor choice plan.

Obviously, personal and corporate gifts are vital to the success of Syntaxis's mission, and the program has been fortunate to attract the support of many donors. But there are other ways to help, too.

Syntaxis is in constant need of job opportunities to provide "real world" experience and to test emerging senses of responsibility. Your help in placing a young person in a work environment is integral to helping youths find more responsible modes of behavior.

And finally, endowments for the future of Syntaxis are a most needed and welcome source of support. We invite your cooperation and participation in the mission of Syntaxis.
